SoulMirror Child Safety Policy

Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CASE) Policy

1. Purpose and Commitment

We are committed to protecting children and to preventing, detecting, and responding to child sexual abuse and exploitation, including related harmful or sexualized conduct involving minors (“CASE”). We operate this app in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and in alignment with the requirements of the “Child Safety Standards” policy. The safety, dignity, and rights of children are treated as a priority in the design and operation of our services.

1. Scope and Application

This Policy applies to:

Where users are underage, we implement additional safeguards intended to reduce risk and limit exposure to harmful content or interactions.

3. Policy Requirements and Controls

3.1 Age Assurance and Access Controls

Users are required to confirm their age at registration. Based on age information provided, we apply safeguards for minors, which may include feature-level restrictions and other protective measures designed to reduce risk.

3.2 Content Moderation and Review

We employ a combination of automated detection tools and human review to identify and address content or conduct that may involve CASE, sexual exploitation, or other inappropriate behavior involving minors. Where content is determined to violate this Policy, we may take actions including removal, restriction of visibility, and other enforcement measures described below.

3.3 Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on the app:

We may remove violating content, restrict accounts or features, suspend or terminate access, and preserve relevant information as appropriate to support investigations and compliance obligations.

3.4 Reporting Channels and Case Handling

We provide in-app reporting tools that enable users to report suspected CASE-related content or conduct. Reports are reviewed by a designated team. We aim to review and respond to reports in a timely manner and, where operationally feasible, within 24 hours. Response actions may include content removal, account enforcement, and escalation for further review.

3.5 Cooperation and External Reporting

Where required by law, or where otherwise appropriate, we may report suspected CASE to relevant child protection organizations and/or law enforcement agencies and cooperate with lawful requests. We may also collaborate with appropriate child safety partners to support prevention, detection, and response efforts.

4. Governance, Accountability, and Transparency

We periodically review this Policy and associated controls and may update them to address evolving risks, operational needs, and legal or regulatory requirements. We publish an annual transparency report describing our enforcement actions and our plans for continued improvement.
